January-December 2020 ICBC (Asia) “Plantation Enrichment Project” In collaboration with the Hong Kong Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) and The Green Earth, ICBC (Asia) kickoffs the second year programme of “Plantation Enrichment Project ” and supports the volunteers from the local green group participating in a series of tree maintenance activities such as native tree species planting, fertilizing and growth monitoring in the Clear Water Bay Country Park with a plantation area of approximate 1 hectare. The objective of this programme is to enhance the ecological values of plantations and enrich biodiversity, promoting the sustainable development of the green life in Hong Kong.

7-11 December 2020 ICBC (Asia) Organizes the “Love in COVID-19” Winter Clothing Donation Progamme ICBC (Asia) has organized the winter clothing donation programme as the second batch of “Love in COVID-19” Campaign. Over 200 pieces of winter clothing and over 100 handwritten wish cards were collected from our colleagues to give away. The clothes were donated to JLife Foundation to bring a warm winter to the needy elderlies and grass-root families an act of love and responsibility of ICBC (Asia) during the difficult time.

5 January 2020 2019/2020 The Community Chest - "Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk for Millions" ICBC (Asia) stepped out in support of the Hong Kong’s annual major fund-raising event “Walk for Millions” for the ninth consecutive year. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of ICBC (Asia), it is of great significance to participate in this charity event. Nearly 300 employees, and their friends and family members made the 10-kilometer journey, contributing their money as well as efforts for charity. All funds raised from the Walk programme will go to the social welfare member agencies in providing “family and child welfare services” by The Community Chest.
